Open Canoeing

The open canoe, originating in North America, can be paddled solo, or as a doubles crew and occasionally as a family group.  The traditional canoe is one of the most versatile watercraft being equally at home on the calmest loch or in crashing white water.  Beyond Adventure use canoes to introduce clients to canoeing skills on both the Loch and River Tay.

Its a fantastic paddlesport for groups of mixed ages and abilities.

Many thanks for a fantastic days canoeing on the river with my Scout troop. We had been looking forward to it for months and it exceeded our expectations. Mark and Moose were fantastic with the kids, giving them clear instruction and encouraging them through the tricky bits! The kids loved the sections with the short rapids, and the chance to get out the canoes for a swim in the river. We will be back for some more canoeing in a couple of years time on our next Scout Summer camp!
